PCA Escape
Conceived in 2004 as an alternative event to Porsche Parade, Escape is the PCA National event that usually takes place on the "opposite" coast from Parade. It is a non-competitive event composed of tours on great roads to interesting locations and focuses on the social side of the PCA experience. PCA Escapes have taken place in:
- California Wine Country
- Finger Lakes of New York State
- Virginia Heritage Country
- New Mexico's Land of Enchantment
For 2009, PCA Escape will be hosted by the Ohio Valley Region of Zone 4 with the theme of Escape to the Birthplace of Aviation.
Zone 9 is proud to have played a role in establishing PCA Escape as a new tradition and we support the efforts of our successors.
So, if you have the time and energy, PCA Escape is a great second event to add to your schedule to see a different part of the country and not have to worry about the white-gloves of the concours judges, the stopwatches at the autocross, or the stress of a rally. If you haven't been yet, give PCA Escape a try!
